Girls are Bitches
by sylvia
I don’t have a lot of friends. I’ve gone through stages in my life where I’ve had a great, large set of friends, and stages where I had no friends. I used to think that having no friends was a directly proportionate to how great of a person you were. But at the times when I had that “great” group of friends, I was pretty damn miserable. As I get older, I realize I am WAY ok having no friends (with the exception of the hubs) or only a few here and there. Of course, Bianca knows she my bitch fo life, but that’s only because she has a pool, and I do not.
Friends are time consuming. Friends are needy. And when I say “friends”, I am typically referring to the female-type of friends. Girls are bitches. I am. Bianca is. Sometimes my mom can be a little mean (because I would never call my mom a bitch!) Girls are needy. Girls are backstabbers and generally jealous creatures.
Now, before y’all start hating, even though it sounds like I am generalizing (I am), I know that many girls/women out there are not like how I described girls up above. And thank you to you all that definitely give girls a good name, instead of being the skanks and annoying backstabbers that make Rock of Love and Real Housewives so much freakin’ fun to watch!
The difference is, even though I know I’m a bitch and I’m needy and intolerant, I am also somewhat insightful and know which of these things I would like to change about myself. But I try to be a better person, especially since I have been the “victim” of these bitchy ladies all my life (most of us have), and only want to be *that much* of a hypocrite (my subscription is about to run out).
So on our way back from lunch today, for some reason I started telling Bianca one of these stories, and I started getting so riled up, we decided that this blog is a great place to vent that garbage. So I’ll be posting stories about the stupid bitches I have encountered in my life, and invite you to do the same!

[...] in an earlier post I had mentioned that girls are bitches. Especially some of the ones you keep as friends. And I [...]
Then what are boys if girls are bitches? I personally hate this term, it is a catch all phrase and usually just implies someone is just being mean or rude. I will not use it. Is it when we are intolerant, overly critical…then say that. Or being “my bitch” relinquishing one’s power to another….ugh, just ugly! I’d rather use 14 descriptive words!

I posted something on my blog like a year ago on this VERY SUBJECT! I have also admitted THE ONE AND ONLY BITCH I trust in my life is my VERY best friend (for like, 22 years!)/Sis-In-Law. Bestest friends are good especially when they have cute ass, tall (in MY preferences), well-hung Brothers.
Also, LMFDAO @ “She has a pool and I don’t.” You guys’ writing is inspir-friggin-rational!!
I will continue 2 read this very intriguing series..
This kind of talk really frustrates me because it places women into a needy, nasty box that few deviate from. I heard exactly te same description of women, as a group from someone that other day. She actually chose to compare men favourable to this view, something you do silently.
